I am a post-doc researcher in the Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, University of California, Berkeley, advised by Prof. Doris Tsao. My general research interest is to leverage advanced computational models for deciphering the functionality of visual cortex, and incorporate the learned insights with the development of AI systems. More specifically, I would like to understand how the brain builds a stable visual representation across diverse scenarios, and whether or not such knowledge will be useful for the development of generalizable vision models. Before joining the field of visual neuroscience, I worked on computer vision and human vision, with a particular focus on studying the role of visual attention in decision-making. I obtained my PhD degree from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Minnesota, advised by Prof. Qi Zhao. For my full CV.
